(street name Long-COVID)

You know how the seemingly majority of we-the-world are understandably just so weary to the bone of even hearing anyone say COVID? It being so over for most of we-the-world, even though it isn't of course.

Plus for some of us it simply never existed, was exaggerated, or an out & out lie.

For some us it was, and still is, merely still thought of like a flu of today.

Not a flu like the one of the 1918 pandemic. When we who lived and didn't also get, or immune system triggered into the coinciding epidemic of encephalitis lethargica. And so having it possibly(?) passing on an immunity. Plus those of us who didn't get it because of a built in natural immunity and passing on their immunity genes. And medical interventions were discovered.

That said most of reporting WeWhoSufferWithLongCovid are reporting experiencing a negative bias knee jerk reaction to Long-COVID being said to we who are parents, we who are siblings, we who are doctors, we who are friends, we who are acquaintances who just can't conceive of WTF WeWhoSufferWithLong-COVID are dealing with here. 24 hours a day. Day after day. Week after week. Month after month, now even year after year. And we haven't discovered The Definitive Detection for it, or The Definitive Medical Intervention for it.

So I have been studying on this problem. For quite a while now. How to get pasted the all-so-understandable-I'm-so-over-this-shit automatic negative knee-jerk bias reaction when I need to.

Nurses, telephone doctors, insurance people, local services, management, etc.

Now having practiced saying it long enough it just rolls off the tongue, I just say:
I have Social Security SSI and Americans with Disabilites Act recognized and approved disability of long-term disabling post-acute sequelae of SARS-CoV-2.

It's like a magic phrase. All medical and everything. I simply don't say Long-COVID to them. And they always need me to spell it.

Now I do not expect local GPs, Neurologists, etc. to not know what I'm saying without saying it. But it's working on everyone else whom I need to have log it into medical notes and reports.

I most highly recommend using it.

"I have Social Security SSI and Americans with Disabilites Act recognized and approved disability of long-term disabling post-acute sequelae of SARS-CoV-2."
