Most people might not be familiar with the experiment, but Philip Zimbardo, who conducted the 'Stanford Prison Experiment' back in 1971 has just passed away at 91.  His experiment remains very controversial (and was cut short due to issues during the testing), right up there with the better known 'Obedience to Authority' experiment by Stanley Milgram.  We had to study both during the psychology classes that I took in college.  They both deal with how people in power can act toward those whom they have power over.

She was awesome in "Young Frankenstein". Probably my most favorite role of hers.

ETA: With her death, that just leaves Gene Hackman as the last surviving main cast member of "Young Frankenstein". 

There might be some secondary cast members still around, but of the main cast it's just Gene Hackman. And he's up there in age too, so his number may be up at some point in the future as well.

Sir Bom Gillies, last surviving member of the Maori Battalion of the New Zealand Army from WW2, passed away November 7th, 2024 at the age of 99.
