Decathlon is known for inexpensive, very good down jackets. These have been compared to premium brands like Patagonia and others. That typically run $300+. These were down to $99 during Black Friday. $150 regularly. 800 fill down.

I would put these jackets at above a puffer but not quite a full winter down jacket. Kind of a medium down jacket.

But there are a couple nice things I was not expecting:

The hood has a lip. Is very full. But the collar is lined with fleece! It's a really big upgrade. Super warm. I've never seen this in a typical down jacket. It's like you don't need a scarf.

And the collar area is very tall. It zips up well up under your chin. The entire hood and collar are very covering and warm.

The entire jacket is lightweight but full. If that makes sense. It's typical lightweight down jacket fabric. But plenty of fill. Not thin like some down puffer jackets.

It also has two nice inside pockets. The only thing it lacks that most all puffer jackets don't have is lined pockets. I don't know why that is. They all have nothing but that thin outside material for pockets. No down or thicker fabric. But I guess that's why we have gloves. Lol
